Today I learned that Google has introduced Real Time Search Results, which is really awesome if you give it a try. Instead of getting old stories about Obama for example, if you opt for Past 24 Hours you will get the news which you were probably interested in the first place, except the case you wanted to read his Wikipedia page. If you chose the Latest Search results, I noticed that most of the searches are from Twitter.

I believe that these new Google options really increase the quality of our searches. Enjoy!
